Beyond Skyline was fun and all but I feel it wasted an opportunity. Furthermore this "sequel" avoids too much "life of the characters" stuff and gets straight into action and plot. Beyond Skyline is an utterly ridiculous, highly watchable, and entirely joyous experience. Skyline was good and the sequel is an improvement. Beyond skyline is far better than the first original movie.
