The writing was solid, as expected from Raleigh Reubens, and she did a better job making the whole “misunderstanding” mess believable than most other books I've read in the past, but still, it was such an exhausting egg-walk of “unrequited feelings” to the point of self-sabotage, that I can't bear to give it a higher score than 3*, which is really generous.
