A mid-century romantic comedy gem, THE LADY SAYS NO pits a saucy female author against a cocky fashion photographer in a classic battle of the sexes. The lady of the title is author Dorinda Hatch (Joan Caulfield), who writes a scathing best-seller in which she trashes all men. He orders Potsie to exit and talk to his wife, with whom he reconciles after Dorinda tells Goldie that her book is stupid and that she's sorry that she ever wrote it because Potsie and Goldie love each other and belong together in spite of the fighting. There's no dignity, respect, nor intelligence in this movie. 80min.

This isn't one of them. This isn't one of them. I found it extremely irritating. As much as I enjoy this era of film, I could not endure to watch more than half of this one.
