Overall cute movie ... like a Friday night kind of movie to wind down from the week. Watching the film motivated me to also read the book which inspired it. The movie would have worked better if it had been quieter, more intimate and indie. Unfortunately, these characters belong to different worlds that don't meld, cartoonish political satire and dopey romcom. It is a film I know you will like.
