MIAMI TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Ohio State Highway Patrol and Miami Township Fire responded to the scene of a plane crash on Deerfield Drive on Saturday afternoon, according to OSP. Officials said they were working to determine how many people were on board the plane.Aerial footage showed the damaged plane in the parking lot of a self storage building with a yellow tarp covering what appeared to be a body.Surveillance video from the business showed the plane slamming into the building and breaking into pieces as it tumbled to the ground.The building also appeared to have been damaged in the crash.Broward Sheriff's Office officials said deputies and fire rescue crews responded to the scene, along with crime scene and homicide detectives.Records showed the plane had left Pompano Beach Airpark just minutes before the crash and was headed to Opa-locka.The plane was owned by Conquest Air Cargo but the company said it's not used in day-to-day cargo operations.

A small airplane landed upside down in the Florida Everglades in West Broward County Thursday around 12:45 in the afternoon.
